Some may consider a pricey wine at $26 a bottle, but I can assure you this wine is worth every penny. A true old world beauty. Tempranillo is Spain's noble grape grown in the Rioja district and it seems to grow beautifully here on the peninsula of Cape May County. The clusters are large with black berries and it ripens early. Winning medal's the last 2 years in competitions we now look forward to its great quality as the vine hits the age of maturity and look forward to seeing how this year stacks up in competition.

Dolcetto ~ This is a young, fruity (for a dry red) and delicate wine with a hint of black cherry and licorice flavors on your tongue with a characteristically bitter finish reminiscent of almonds. While the name implies sweetness, the wines are normally dry. Dolcetto (means "little sweet one" in Italian) is grown in the maritime alps of northwest Italy and has been successfully transplanted in the soil of Cape May and we just love having it grow right here at our vineyard!

Cabernet Sauvignon ~ This wine is youthful yet the nose takes in black ripe currants while the mouth tastes soft silky tannins. The most recent vintage has been aged in Pennsylvania oak which contributes to a nose of chard chocolate & cherries full body and spicy mouth-feel. This variety also tends to be the last variety that we pick during harvest needing as much of an extended grow season as possible here in South Jersey!

This did win a medal at the 2010 NJ Governors cup

This is our wine makers special blend of our Cabernet Franc and Tempranillo grapes and aged in American oak barrels. Loads of jammy fruit and enough tannins to make your mouth pucker. Try it with prime rib, blackened with a side of au jus!

Just a little history ~ Cedar Hammock is the name of our vineyards region in the early 1700's. This is how we came up with the name because the grapes that go into this amazing blend are all grown right here in our vineyard!

This variety grows best in our sandy soils and maritime climate. The nose of this wine makes you think of jammy raspberries and strawberries. The acids are crisp yet the tannins are soft. Leaves a lingering finish in your mouth.

Our Merlot won a medal at the NJ Governors cup the last 3 years including a silver medal in 2010.
