ZOO FEST ~ Cape May County Zoo & Wine Festival Fundraiser FREE ADMISSION

During the winter of 09 the CMC Zoo suffered severe damage through out our beautiful park and extensive damage was done to the "Bald Eagle" exhibit and we as a community came together to help to restore this beautiful creature’s habitat. Well this year we have great news because we have decided to help our newest zoo members the Snow Leopards Kaba & Sabu.

We are going to have the CMC Zoological Society and Zoo Friends out to visit with hopefully a couple of their smaller friendlier Animal Ambassadors from our beautiful zoo! It will be a great day to bring the family or some friends and sit and relax in the vineyard with a bottle of one of our Award Winning Wines or Enjoy a sampling of any (5) wines for $5. Wines by the Glass will also be available.

This is a FREE ADMISSION event so please give a little if you can.
The Zoo Society is building a NEW habitat and maternity den for our snow leopard family.

Only eleven snow leopard cubs were born last year in Association of Zoos & Aquaiums (AZA) accredited zoos in the United States. The AZA is encouraging our Zoo’s breeding program efforts under AZA Species Survival Plan (SSP) guidelines for these rare and endangered cats. The new facility will be designed to enable Zoo staff to safely and effectively achieve this purpose while providing the snow leopards a more stimulating and natural environment.

•This months Cool Band ~ "The Back Bay Duo" will be returning to the vineyard after their last show here when the crowd demanded an encore!

*This event is Rain Or Shine indoor & outdoor event! We have tents for outside but please dress for the weather!
